Dan Dickson is the CEO and a Director of Endeavour Silver Corp., a mid-tier precious metals mining company with silver-gold mines in Mexico. Appointed as CEO in May 2021, Dickson is responsible for the company's strategic direction, vision, growth, and performance, focusing on creating shareholder value.

Before ascending to the role of CEO, Dickson served as Endeavour Silver's Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, he was instrumental in financial reporting, led financing solutions—including debt and equity raises—steered mergers and acquisitions, and oversaw IT, legal, and administrative functions. His tenure as CFO saw the successful raising of over $300 million, facilitating the company's expansion from a modest team of four employees to a robust workforce exceeding 2,000.

Dickson's professional journey commenced at KPMG LLP, where he worked in the assurance group from 2001 to 2007. He honed his expertise there by focusing on publicly traded precious metals companies listed on North American stock exchanges. This experience provided him with a solid foundation in financial management within the mining sector.

Academically, Dickson holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of British Columbia. He is a member of the British Columbia Institute of Chartered Accountants, bearing the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).

Under Dickson's leadership, Endeavour Silver has made significant strides, particularly with the advancement of the Terronera project. Terronera is expected to double the company's production and reduce its cost profile, producing approximately 4.5 million ounces of silver and 35,000 ounces of gold annually over its 10-year mine life.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Dickson is active on social media, sharing insights related to sports, silver, and mining. He describes himself as an enthusiast who uses comedy to express his thoughts, moods, and actions.
