Brad Cooke, born in 1954, was a professional geologist and entrepreneur with nearly five decades of experience in the mining industry. He founded Endeavour Silver Corp. in 2003, aiming to acquire and develop high-grade silver and gold projects in Mexico. Under his leadership, the company acquired, rebuilt, and expanded four such mines and discovered a potential fifth.

Beyond his role at Endeavour Silver, Cooke served as the President of the Silver Institute, reflecting his significant influence in the global silver industry. He was widely respected for his commitment to sustainability and environmental, social, and governance issues.

Cooke passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2022, at the age of 67.

His legacy inspires the mining community, reflecting his dedication to exploration, development, and operational excellence in the industry.
